Composition Drew Struzan


This week we looked at different types of composition through Drew Struzan's movie posters. I found that the Hellboy II: The Golden Army poster I chose to replicate fit three different classic composition layouts.

Basic Lighting & Materials

We were tasked to light two rooms and one hallway of a provided, unlit Unreal Engine interior scene and import at one asset from another asset pack into each room and assign it a unique material instance from a parent material we also had to create.

And we also learned about the front, side, and back muscles of the torso:










































I had never seen the serratus anterior muscle before, so it was really interesting to see it on a muscular model.

Figure Drawing Class #2

Same model as first class. Front, back, and side view of skull studies.

I tried to focus more on the interior parts of the skull such as the zygomatic arch instead of the outline.

I did not really draw the skull last class and my drawings felt better after this class.
